Ep America seeks to build on its success as a leading provider of 3rd party logistics (3PL) solutions services in the United States. Ep America belongs to Ep Group, which is a leader in the Mexican logistics industry, with thirteen domestic offices. In addition, we have offices in major logistical hubs: Chile, Costa Rica, Panama and Germany. The combined operations do business as Ep Group.
The entry into force of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) created a significant increase in trade and international movement between Mexico, the United States and Canada, and that trend continues despite recent economic difficulties. In fact, one result of the economic crisis of 2009 is that many companies have outsourced to Central America and Mexico, where Ep Group has a significant operating presence.
Ep Group’s next growth phase centers on the North American market, where our experience, existing clientele and operational platform position us for success and continued expansion, particularly as a provider of express services and critical cargo logistics. In time, we expect that our U.S.-based operations will become the center of the company’s activities, with Ep America situated at the hub of a growing NAFTA market and increased multilateral trade.
